Seen in House
[edit]I have watched the opening credits to House several times now on TV and then slowed down on my computer, and I have never been able to see the Trenton Makes anywhere. You can clearly see the Carnegie Lake and the Washington Street Bridge, but not the Trenton Makes. Its a distinct landmark. Unless anyone out there has a picture or screenshot, I'm going to change the article. I'm not going to remove the comment entirely, because you can see the bridge in another popular show - The Sopranos - and I'll change it to reflect that. BethEnd 04:56, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Bridge NOT seen in the Sopranos
[edit]I have no idea about its being featured in House, but it would make a lot more sense to me than the bridge being shown in the Sopranos. The Sopranos credits feature Tony driving on the NJTP in north jersey, nowhere near Trenton. I just re-watched the Sopranos opening credits to make sure and I don't believe the Trenton makes bridge is there. There are several bridges, but none that are readily identifiable as the Trenton makes. Tony's trip should take him nowhere near Trenton.

History
[edit]It might need to be made clearer, when it is said "The bridge was originally a toll bridge operated by the Trenton Delaware Bridge Company. It opened on January 30, 1806...," that the statement refers to an entirely different structure. Yes, it IS stated farther down that the bridge was rebuilt several times, but the language used seems to me to suggest that the discussion concerns a single structure.PurpleChez (talk) 19:09, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Odd appearance in film (Popular culture section)
[edit]Article photos and all other photos I've found show the motto across two spans of the bridge. The 2012 film "One for the Money" has the whole motto appearing on a single span (very first scene immediately after opening credits). Must have been computer generated? -- Rairden (talk) 08:34, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
